DU will be frequently highlighting a university chapter to share their success of the past fundraising season and what keeps them motivated to make a difference for waterfowl and wetland habitat.

More about the Ducks University Chapter Program
The Ducks University chapter program began in 1984. The first chapter to gain their charter with Ducks Unlimited was the University of Texas at Austin, and the first chapter to host an event was the Tiger Chapter located in Baton Rouge, La. The program has seen an exceptional amount of success over the years. Now, more than 30 years later the program has become a huge fundraising component for Ducks Unlimited. In 2018, 115 active chapters from over 35 states raised more than $2.1 million dollars in event income for wetlands conservation.
