WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 14, 2025 – Ducks Unlimited (DU) applauds the U.S Senate’s confirmation of Katherine (Kate) MacGregor as Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior under Secretary Doug Burgum. MacGregor returns to the same position she served in under the first Trump Administration.

MacGregor served as the Deputy Secretary of the Interior from 2020 to 2021 after holding several other senior positions with the Administration beginning in 2017. MacGregor also brings years of experience working on Capitol Hill, including with the House Committee on Natural Resources.
