Memphis, Tenn. – September 20, 2018 – Shawn Kooyman was named Ducks Unlimited’s (DU) Regional Director of the Year for his outstanding efforts as a staff member in Region 7, an area that encompasses the southeastern United States.
“This recognition is well-deserved,” said Brett Baker, DU director of fundraising and volunteer relations. “I have seen Shawn’s impressive passion for DU’s mission grow over the last several years. Shawn keeps his volunteers engaged and focused on supporting the cause while having fun. Because of his dedication and drive, Virginia remains a top fundraising area in the country.”
