Fort Collins, Colorado - Nov. 3, 2025 - Ducks Unlimited is pleased to be the recipient of a RESTORE Colorado grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), thanks to a financial contribution from Chevron, for wetland conservation activities in the South Platte basin in northeastern Colorado. This grant will enable Ducks Unlimited to enhance the availability and quality of wetland habitats for ducks, geese, and other waterfowl.
 
The project will help conserve 400 acres of wetland habitat and help improve capacity for waterfowl on more than 700 acres of public land.

NFWF's RESTORE Colorado program provides financial resources for habitat restoration and stewardship conservation projects in Colorado, designed to benefit wildlife and local communities. Northeastern Colorado represents important habitat for waterfowl and migratory birds. Strong partnerships with landowners, conservation organizations and private businesses demonstrate the collaborative nature of land and wildlife conservation.

Chevron's contribution to the Ducks Unlimited RESTORE Colorado grant is part of Chevron's innovative Comprehensive Wildlife Plan, designed to provide meaningful impacts for wildlife and habitat through targeted programs, including land conservation and restoration, habitat enhancements, wildlife collaring studies and native seed cultivation.
