Memphis, Tenn. September 25, 2018 Erik Wettersten was named Ducks Unlimiteds (DU) Regional Director of the Year for his outstanding efforts as a staff member in Region 2, an area that encompasses the Prairies and Great Plains region.

The consistent and continued success that Erik has enjoyed is a testament to the outstanding partnership Erik has fostered with the great DU volunteers in Colorado, said Greg Dinkel, DU director of fundraising and volunteer relations. This partnership is positively affecting waterfowl, wetlands, and our waterfowling heritage everyday.

Wettersten, a resident of Evergreen, Colo., covers the Front Range and West Slope and works with volunteer committees in this area hosting fundraisers for the 81-year-old conservation organization.
