A dedication honoring DU Legacy Sponsors Anthony and Kathleen Rose of Wakefield, Rhode Island, was held in October at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Visitor's Center in Charlestown. The Rose family's many contributions to conservation have impacted hundreds of acres of waterfowl habitat throughout Rhode Island and other parts of New England.

Tony and with his late wife, Kathy, passed along their passion for charitable giving and conservation to their daughters-Kim, Melissa, and Lauren-and to their son, Eric, who served as Rhode Island DU state chairman from 2000 to 2002. Tony's four children and six grandchildren are also DU Major Sponsors.
