Yamaha Continues Support of DU State Raffle Program

Just as DU does, Yamaha puts incredible value on wildlife and their habitats

For more than 10 years, Ducks Unlimited and Yamaha Outdoors have partnered to raise over $4 million for wetlands conservation. Among other activities, each year Yamaha donates several of its proven off-road vehicles, like the Wolverine X4 Side-by-Side and Kodiak 700 ATV (pictured), to DU’s State Raffle Program.

“Programs like these are successful because there are so many great DU volunteers, state committees, and staff working toward the same goal of raising money for wetlands conservation,” says Jim Alexander, DU managing director of corporate relations. “It also helps tremendously when you have great corporate support in a partner like Yamaha, donating quality products that get DU supporters excited.”

Just as DU does, Yamaha puts incredible value on wildlife and their habitats. “Yamaha is the power sports leader in supporting conservation and public land access, and our work with Ducks Unlimited is one of many examples of how we’re giving back to our communities and customers each year,” says Steve Nessl, motor sports marketing manager for Yamaha. “We look forward to seeing DU members continuing to grow and advocate for conservation, in addition to enjoying Yamaha’s proven off-road vehicles in their adventures.”
