Although we have widespread evidence of the ecological and economic outcomes associated with the NRCS’s Wetland Reserve Easement component of the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP-WRE; previously known as the Wetland Reserve Program), how participants perceive or experience such outcomes is unclear. Further, little is known about the relational and well-being benefits associated with participation in ACEP-WRE. To enhance our understanding of the outcomes associated with participation in ACEP-WRE and the relationships among these outcomes, participant satisfaction, and broader wetland stewardship, this study will survey ACEP-WRE participants from 1996 to the present.
