DU TV this week: Partners

This episode of DU TV joins former Ducks Unlimited CEO Dale Hall and Mossy Oak founder Toxey Haas at Toxey's place near West Point, Mississippi.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sept. 10, 2019 –This week’s episode of DU TV features a hunt with retired Ducks Unlimited CEO Dale Hall and Mossy Oak founder Toxey Haas at Haas’ place near West Point, Miss.

Land stewardship and conservation partnership are the topics of the day as Hall and Haas reflect on the past and look forward to the future.

The Haas family has long believed in conserving habitat and leaving land better than they found it. They have a special fondness for waterfowl conservation.

“So why are ducks in our blood so strong? It’s because the most fun you can have, more than even hunting ducks, is taking care of them,” Haas said.

Mossy Oak and Ducks Unlimited share a common goal to ensure a future for wetland and waterfowl.

“When you get a company like Mossy Oak who understands you must give back, they know a corporate image and a corporate responsibility is more than just the bottom line,” said Hall. “It is what you are leaving as a legacy.”

Ducks Unlimited CEO Adam Putnam discusses conservation and the hunting heritage on his DU Insights conservation segment.

Champion caller Fred Zink shows you how to team up on late season ducks on his Duck Talk segment and professional retriever trainer Mike Stewart educates the audience on dog maintenance and health on Duck Dog.
