Memphis, Tenn. September 25, 2018 Kyle Green was named Ducks Unlimiteds (DU) Regional Director of the Year for his outstanding efforts as a staff member in Region 1, an area that encompasses the West Coast and Alaska.

Kyle and the DU volunteers in Utah had an exceptional year in event fundraising, said Tim Fehringer, DU director of fundraising and volunteer relations. With a focus on developing senior leadership and filling the halls with attendees, their hard work and efforts paid off for the ducks.

Green, a resident of Salt Lake City, covers the state of Utah and works with volunteer committees in this area hosting fundraisers for the 81-year-old conservation organization. Green also received the $100,000 Growth Club and Sustained Growth Award.

DU is the leader in wetlands conservation and volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization. Through more than 4,000 local fund-raising events DU volunteers generate more than 500,000 memberships and more than $65 million annually.
