Evans County Public Fishing Area:

From Claxton: Take US Hwy 280 east for 8.5 miles, turn right on Old Reidsville-Savannah Rd., go 1 mile and turn left on Old Sunbury Rd., go 0.3 miles to entrance on right. Waterfowl impoundment is the 30-acre impoundment upstream of the 84-acre fishing lake.

Rhett's Island Renovation:

Rhetts Island is accessible only by boat, either down the Darien River from the city of Darien, or down the Altamaha River from the boat ramp at Champney Island, south of the Check Station on the left (east) side of the road.


Riverbend:

Rum Creek:

From Forsyth: Take Hwy 18 east 7 miles to Check Station. Project is located on Juliette Rd. east of Forsyth.


Savannah National Wildlife Refuge:

From Savannah: Take I-95 north from I-95/I-16 Junction to Hwy 21/30, go south on Hwy 21/30 towards Port Wentworth, turn left on Hwy 30 into Port Wentworth, turn left on Hwy 25 North across Savannah River to Wildlife Drive around waterfowl impoundments. Projects are located on the Solomon Tract of the NWR.

Silver Lake:

Location: Approximately 10 miles southwest of Bainbridge in Decatur County, Georgia. Silver Lake WMA is located adjacent to Lake Seminole, a well-known waterfowl area in the southwestern potion of Georgia and Florida, and the Lake Seminole WMA.

West Point:

From LaGrange: Take GA Hwy 219 north 0.5 miles past the Chattahoochee River bridge, turn right on Old Whitley Rd., follow signs to Check Station and information kiosk. Project consists of goose grazing pastures on various points along the edge of Lake West Point.
