Memphis, Tenn. September 6, 2017 Frank Leonardi was named Ducks Unlimiteds (DU) Regional Director of the Year for his outstanding efforts as a staff member of Region 1, an area that encompasses the West Coast and Alaska.

Frank continues to be a strong Leader for DU, said Jason Rounsaville, DU director of fundraising and volunteer relations. He and his volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of the ducks. Despite very stiff competition, this is the second straight year he has been named the Region 1 Regional Director of the year.

Leonardi, a resident of Folsom, Calif., covers north central California and works with volunteer committees in this area hosting fundraisers for the 80-year-old conservation organization. Leonardi also received the $100,000 Growth Club, Sustained Growth Award, Million Dollar Club and Elite Performance Roundtable.

DU is the leader in wetlands conservation and volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization. Through 4,000 local fund-raising events DU volunteers generate more than 500,000 memberships and more than $53 million annually.
