NASCAR’s Cup Series points leader will showcase iconic Ducks Unlimited logo during regular-season finale at Daytona.

DAYTONA, Florida – Aug. 22, 2023 – Thanks to a partnership with longtime conservation champion Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops, the iconic Ducks Unlimited logo will be featured on the No. 19 Toyota Camry of Martin Truex Jr. during the NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 on Aug. 26 at Daytona International Speedway.

The Coke Zero 400 is the NASCAR regular-season finale. Truex, the current NASCAR Cup Series points leader, will compete in the Bass Pro Shops/Ducks Unlimited Toyota in the race to determine final standings for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Bass Pro Shops is the title sponsor for the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 19 Toyota Camry. Bass Pro founder Johnny Morris is incorporating Ducks Unlimited onto the car specially for the Daytona race.

“We are proud and excited to stand beside Ducks Unlimited and passionate sportsmen and women across North America to advocate for wetlands habitat conservation,” Johnny Morris said. “We have had an incredibly rewarding and impactful partnership over the years, and showcasing Ducks Unlimited on Martin’s car as he chases another Cup Series championship is a great way to help raise awareness about these important efforts. We are fired up!”

The world leader in wetlands conservation, Ducks Unlimited has protected or restored more than 16 million acres of habitat since 1937. Bass Pro Shops has been a major contributor to that achievement. In the last three years alone, more than $2 million in Bass Pro Shops contributions has led to more than 76,000 acres of habitat conserved.

“Ducks Unlimited and Bass Pro Shops have a proven winning relationship and partnering on Martin’s car is a great way to show millions of people what conservation looks like,” said Ducks Unlimited CEO Adam Putnam. “We can’t thank Johnny Morris enough for putting the duck head in front of so many race fans who share our passion for outdoor traditions.”

Ducks Unlimited has conserved nearly 70,000 acres of wetlands in Florida since the 1980s.

“We are thrilled to be on the side of this fast car alongside Bass Pro Shops and Joe Gibbs Racing, in a state where Ducks Unlimited is already involved in numerous conservation efforts,” said Ducks Unlimited Chief Operating Officer Nick Wiley.
