View PhotosCaribbean Fly-Fishing on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula for Two – It was just a matter of time until Nervous Waters looked to the Caribbean of Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula for fishing opportunities. They have waited for the right time and the right location to open this trip to DU supporters and tonight, they have found both! Located near Punta Allen, the Mayazul Lodge rests on the water in the heart of Mexico’s “permit alley,” where fly-fishing anglers have a history of success pursuing the black-tailed devil of the flats.
Here, Ascension Bay has been protected from commercial fishing and development and has become one of the most prolific and diverse bonefish, permit, snook, baby tarpon and seasonally migrating tarpon fisheries in the entire Caribbean.
This trip of a lifetime includes:
Not included are airfare, airport transfers (approx. $450/person), excellent loaner fishing tackle if needed (approx. $200/person), fishing license, and facility services and guide gratuities. Trip dates are on a first come, first served basis. Nervous Waters reserves the right to accommodate non-fishing guests at an additional rate negotiated with Nervous Waters. Trip must be taken within 12 months of purchase. Trips must be taken during the months of January through March or August through December.
