Argentinean Duck Hunt for Two Guns – Duck hunting is the only thing on the menu at Los Picazos Lodge located near the agricultural town of Roque Perez, Argentina.  Just 2 hours south of the international airport in Buenos Aires, you can land in the morning and be in the duck blind by early afternoon.  Liberal limits rule the day at Los Picazos with 13 species of ducks in the area including Yellow-billed Pintail, Speckled Teal, White-faced Whistling Duck and the highly sought Rosy-Billed Pochard, the diving duck that acts like a mallard both in the air and on the plate!  Over 50 well placed and scouted blinds provide the best possible harvest opportunities hunting from double dry blinds, sunken individual pit buckets, or submerged platform-pallet blinds.  These blinds are rotated and rested daily.

The lodge is a sprawling, fully restored Argentine ranch home featuring food and wines you come to expect from David Denies.  Los Picazos features 4 elegantly appointed bedrooms each with a private bath.  Morning begins with a wakeup call and a hearty breakfast made to order.  Shooting over decoys begins at first light and until mid-morning. Hunters return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta before mid-afternoon departures for evening duck hunts.  Evening hunts last until dark, after which you will return to the lodge and be met with cocktails and appetizers as well a delicious dinner, before retiring for the evening.
