Purpose: To enhance 50 acres of emergent wetlands habitat on Blanton Creek WMA through installation of two water control structures. This project will create 2 impoundments adjacent to the Chattahoochee River. The vegetation is composed of buttonbush, smartweeds, and various other wetland plants. This project will provide increased opportunities for wood duck production along with improved resting and feeding habitat for wintering dabbling ducks.
