Inertia Reloading System: The SORIX is built on Weatherby's field-proven inertia recoil system. This simple and robust system makes it extremely easy to maintain and running at the highest level. After years of testing and tuning spring rates, this system can efficiently run a wide range of lighter small game loads or heavy magnum loads. Available in 12 ga 3” or 3.5” chambers and 20 ga in a 3” chamber there is a SORIX option that is right for your hunting style.
Shift System for Left-Handed Shooters: The SORIX uniquely accommodates left-handed hunters with Weatherby's Shift System. A cut on the left side of the receiver allows lefties to easily swap the charging handle and the safety can be reversed. The Shift System ensures a tailored left-handed shotgun experience without compromising performance.
Competition Cut Receiver and Oversized Controls: Crafted with the waterfowler in mind, the aggressive competition cut on the receiver facilitates faster and easier reloading, making it ideal for dynamic shooting situations. The oversized slammer button, charging handle, and safety ensure smooth operation, even in less-than-ideal conditions.
Stepped Rib and LPA Fiber Optic Sight: The SORIX features a stepped rib paired with an LPA front sight for unparalleled accuracy and swift target acquisition.
Adjustable Stock Shims: Shooters can fine-tune cast and fitment with the SORIX's adjustable stock shims, providing a personalized and comfortable shooting experience.
Durable and Ergonomic Construction: The receiver and barrel are coated with Cerakote® for resistance against the toughest elements. Textured touch points on the stock ensure a non-slip grip, while a soft cheekpiece adds comfort during extended shooting sessions.
Hand-Painted Brush Patterns: While all SORIX models are crafted in Italy, many stocks feature unique hand-painted brush patterns, a touch added in Sheridan, Wyoming. Guaranteed to blend in with whatever camo you love to wear the SORIX launches with 3 fresh patterns: Midnight Marsh, Storm, and Slough.
Optics-Ready Design: The receiver is drilled and tapped with four 8-40 holes for mounting an optic, making the SORIX an optics-ready shotgun right out of the box for enhanced versatility.
Crio Plus Choke System: The SORIX utilizes the popular Crio Plus choke system, providing shooters with five included chokes (cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full), a choke wrench, and a convenient carrying case.
SORIX Midnight Marsh: Dive into the darkness with our Midnight Marsh finish. This sleek and stealthy option allows you to blend seamlessly into the shadows, giving you the edge in any hunting environment.
