The Virginia Beach Ducks Unlimited Chapter will also unveil the winner of the 2020 Virginia Migratory Waterfowl Conservation Stamp Contest at the Back Bay Knotts Island Waterfowl Festival.

Since 2005, Virginia Ducks Unlimited has partnered with VDGIF to administer the annual waterfowl stamp contest. For more information or to submit artwork for the waterfowl stamp contest, please visit www.vawaterfowlstampcontest.org

Funds generated via the Waterfowl Conservation Stamp Program are used to acquire, restore, and enhance waterfowl habitat throughout the state and breeding grounds in Canada that directly benefit our migratory waterfowl.

Ducks Unlimited has partnered with VDGIF to complete several waterfowl habitat projects that have benefited directly from the Virginia Migratory Waterfowl Stamp Fund.  These projects include:  Doe Creek WMA, Ware Creek WMA, Hog Island WMA, and Princess Anne WMA.  These WMA projects conserve critical wintering habitat for our migratory waterfowl and provide opportunities for public waterfowl hunting.

PRINCESS ANNE WMA - $1,033,571
