The North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) is a highly competitive, grant-based conservation program that has conserved more than 33.4 million acres since 1989. Last year, the program was appropriated at $35.145 million by Congress. Funding for this program is important and that's why we ask that you contact your elected officials to seek their continued support of NAWCA funding, so that we can continue to cultivate success for wetlands conservation on the ground.
