Become a better shot this summer

Waterfowlers can be swamped by changing camouflage patterns, decoy details, and any number of new calls and gadgetry. This off-season, focus on the most important aspect of waterfowling: shotgunning. Improving your shot may be as simple as tweaking a technical error. Policy: America's 2014 Farm Bill

Conservation provisions in this new legislation will help protect and restore vital waterfowl habitat across the U.S.

America's 2014 Farm Bill After two and a half years of delays and gridlock, Congress passed a new Farm Bill in February 2014. This bipartisan legislation provides more than $28 billion in funding for a variety of conservation programs on private lands. Following is an overview of important conservation provisions included in the new Farm Bill, and how they are likely to impact waterfowl and their habitats across the United States over the next five years.
