Return to the breeding grounds

Waterfowl are beginning to trickle back into the northern breeding grounds as spring thaw offers the first available open water. While current habitat updates are showing fair to good conditions in most areas, the process from spring migration to brood rearing is as complex and dangerous as it is fascinating.

Wetlands Conservation

Help secure future wetlands conservation with NAWCA

Please show your support for one of the federal government's most cost-effective conservation programs by asking your member of Congress to sign onto the Dear Colleague letter encouraging funding for NAWCA in Fiscal Year 2014.

NAWCA is vital to wetlands protection and restoration and has conserved almost 27 million acres of wetlands and associated uplands.
