You can always shoot 3' shells out of a 3 1/2" gun, but you can't shoot 3 1/2" shells out of a 3" gun. I know plenty of guys that regret not getting the 3 1/2" chamber when they bought their last gun. I am happy to say I am not one of those guys.

I would go with a 3 1/2" as well.  2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" ya can't beat it.

I always have the same debate. The only real use I have for 3 1/2" is turkey hunting as you dont really need it for geese and certainly not for ducks. I rationalize it this way: You might regret getting a 3'' but you wont miss the extra $90 for the 3 1/2,'' plus in my experience, 3 1/2 chambered guns are much easier to resell f needed.

I recently went through the same debate, but for a different gun. In the end, I ended up with the 3.5 inch chamber. For duck and goose hunting, I only shoot 3inch shells. However, I did run out of ammo one time (shells fell off the boat), and my friend only have 3.5 with him. I know that event has a slim chance or repeating itself, but for the peace of mind, I'd spend the extra.
