Become a Connecticut Major Donor

Since 1937, Ducks Unlimited has conserved in excess of 12 million acres of wetlands across North America, with millions of additional acres being positively influenced for conservation.  DU has been the leader in wetlands conservation since its’ founding in 1937.

Your contribution as a Major Donor is important to DU’s work in Connecticut, New England and North America.  Gifts, contributions and pledges from Connecticut DU members allow us to “leverage” other Federal, State and private funding on average 4:1, literally generating more “bang for the buck”!

A variety of Major Donor programs and giving levels are available, beginning at $10,000 for a Life Sponsorship.  Importantly, your pledge can be made over five years.  In addition, any contributions you have previously made to DU, count towards your Major Donor commitment and you have the opportunity to designate your pledge to the DU conservation initiative of your choosing.

You may also want to consider Membership in DU’s Feather Society.  The Feather Society recognizes those DU Members who have made a provision “for the ducks” in their wills and as a part of their estate planning.

Interested?  I hope so.

Please contact me for additional information on how you can become a Connecticut Major Donor.  I would enjoy the opportunity to sit down with you to explain the benefits and importance to DU’s mission of becoming a Major Donor.
