Construction work is set to begin this spring to restore a 240-acre muck farm in Marquette County. This Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) project is being delivered by DU in cooperation with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The project will create 15 wetland scrapes totaling 25 acres. The end product will provide critical habitat for breeding and migrating waterfowl as well as other wildlife.
