Since 2010; The Collegiate School DU Chapter has raised over $160,000 for Wetlands Conservation. That equates to a little over 640 acres of wetlands conserved in perpetuity. Wetlands are amont the most productive ecosystems on the planet. They are invaluable not only to waterfowl and scores of other wildlife species, but also to the very quality of life on earth. Every species of duck, goos, and swan in North America depends on wetland habitat throughout their life cycle. We also benefit from wetlands for recreation, flood storage, groundwater recharge, and improved water quality.
This year’s, 7th Annual, CSDU Fundraising event for wetland conservation will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 starting at 6:30pm
As you are aware, Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North American waterfowl and other species. The Collegiate School Chapter is proud to be a part of this organization and with your support we will again celebrate our community’s strong tradition of conservation and rich outdoor heritage.
Mark your calendar and get your payment in early so we can save you and your family a seat for this event. Thank you for your consideration and support of the Collegiate School Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
