According to Ducks Unlimited 2013 Louisiana State Chairman Stephen Gauthier, "Leadership Meeting is a great way to start the year. New information and programs are communicated that benefit the attending volunteers and increases their level of success with future events."
The Leadership Meeting will begin Saturday at 9:00am. Louisiana Regional Directors will be communicating ideas and new DU tools available to help volunteers grow their committee and help them experience even greater success with future DU events. The Louisiana State Committee will be sharing goals and opportunities available for DU volunteers in 2014. A few guest speakers will be on hand to provide additional expertise and new information from DU.
"I look forward to a great 2014. Leadership Meeting allows us to review where we've been and put our objectives in place for 2014. This is the kick-off for my year as State Chairman", said Michael Patterson, current 2014 Louisiana State Chairman, Ducks Unlimited. "We've increased our dollars and membership the past few years. We will target continued increases this year as well and need everyone onboard."
For early arrivals, activities will kick off Friday February 21st
with some great food and drinks in the Hospitality Suite at the Clarion Inn Conference Center. In addition, a DU Sportsman’s Night Out (SNO) event is scheduled at Cabela’s for Friday night.
