Terry Moore was a loving, caring, and hardworking man. He leaves behind a wife, Laurie Moore of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two children, Carley and Austin Moore, of Atlanta, GA; and his companion, a black lab, Jake. Terry enjoyed many activities, most that were spent with his family. While he was not working, he could be found hunting, fishing, or boating with Austin and Jake. He also had a passion for photography, family geneology, a love for college baseball, and LSU.
He treasured his home in Charleston and loved the scenery, history, and wildlife that was at his fintertips. His favorite fishing spots were the Wando River and the Charleston Harbor, and his favorite hunting grounds were the Francis Marion National Forest, the ACE Basin and the Santee Coastal Reserve.
A brilliant man, Terry received a major in Chemistry, and a minor in Zoology, from Miami of Ohio in 1979. He lived a lifelong, successful career working for companies such as Harshaw, Bicron, Saint-Gobain, Thermo Electron Corp., Global Dosimetry, and Mirion Technologies. In 2003 he received the Divisional Salesperson of the Year award from Thermo Electron.
His spirit will forever live on in the people that loved him most. We have to remember not to be sad about the years that we will not get to spend with him, but to be thankful for the ones that we did.
