Hi Folks, now here it
is; you just can’t fill a banquet hall full of Guns, Guys
and Gals and not have just the best time of your life!! Only in America can this be done; and
it is at “The Mega Dinner” where we liberally exercise our 2nd
amendment right to do so! That is why we simply feel, “The
Mega Dinner” is the best DU event of the year in our state, and or perhaps
any other state for that matter, and you’re invited!!
Our cocktail hour begins at 6:00
P.M. We will draw for “The Mega
Dinner Savage .17 Rifle, DU Canvasback Pair & Raffle Ticket Giveaway”,
at
6:30 P.M. sharp!! (You must be present to win this one.) We will start our buffet dinner at 7:00 P.M. The ticket price is $25 for current DU members,
($50 per couple), and $50 for non-DU members, ($75.00 per couple). Non DU
members will receive a one year membership in DU and every dinner ticket gets a chance on
a drawing for an exclusive limited edition DU decoy. All persons over age 21 attending will
receive a gaming package from the casino.
We are pleased once again to have Jays
Sporting Goods of Gaylord, returning
this year to provide the items for our gun and sporting goods raffle. Our
raffles this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. It really doesn’t get much better then Jays and
they are bringing lots of top shelf guns and sporting equipment, putting
on a display for us to draw from, second to none, as those of you who have
attended in the past know.
Were going to have a small
silent auction, with some neat and unique items displayed for you to bid on!
Also a
small live auction, with a few more unique and great items for you to bid on,
win and take home!
And Oh Yes, we will have a
few games for you to have fun playing as before, back by popular demand!
Now Ready To Become Excited Because Here
It Is, our featured on going raffle of
the evening, “The You Pick & Start Again” raffle. We
will have Two Tables with approximately 50 plus items on each table. Of these items, 30 or more will be guns. We will be selling 50 tickets at $10 each on one table
and 50
tickets at $20 each for the other table. Once we sell 50 tickets for a table, by
count, we draw a winner, which will choose their prize from the table that
they won from and then we start over again.
The total number of prizes given away will be determined by the
number of tickets we sell for each table.
After the last draw is completed, the final event of the evening will be
our “losers draw”. This means we keep all the tickets that didn’t win
during the evening from the bucket raffles and do one last final draw from
those tickets for a Charles Daly 12 gauge 3 ½” pump shotgun, (or
equivalent). Now tell me isn’t that just
the best, right up to the last minute of the evening, you still have a chance to
win a gun at the Mega, if you haven’t won earlier on the bucket draws. Of course if you have won a gun on the bucket
raffles, you are ineligible!
