North Dakota prairies champion receives national recognition

PITTSBURGH, Pa, – March 18, 2016 – Few people have furthered the conservation of prairie wetlands and grasslands more than Tammy Fairbanks. Fairbanks, the North Dakota realty supervisor for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), was awarded the national Wetlands Conservation Achievement Award in the Federal Agency Employee category today during the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference in Pittsburgh.
