New Jersey native elected to Ducks Unlimited's national board of directors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – June 26, 2013 – Joseph Mazon, of Califon, N.J., was elected to Ducks Unlimited Inc.'s national board of directors during the organization's annual convention held recently in Portland, Ore.

"The leadership of our board of directors ensures we are fulfilling our mission to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl," said DU CEO Dale Hall. "Our board members are not paid for their work; rather they volunteer their time and resources because they feel so strongly about conservation. I welcome each new member and look forward to working with them in the years to come."

Mazon is a portfolio manager and investment strategist at MetLife. He is rejoining the board after a previous period of service, and is also a board member of Ducks Unlimited Canada. He enjoys hunting, fishing and camping, as well as baseball and golf. He and his wife, Lisa Happy, have two children, Kylie and Josh.

"I am very excited to rejoin the board," Mazon said. "I look forward to helping Ducks Unlimited fulfill its mission and protect the natural wonders we call wetlands."
