Wells Fargo has provided a $2,500 grant to Alaska Ducks Unlimited which has been used to underwrite the 2012-2013 Alaska Sponsor Print. This is the 13th anniversary of the Alaska sponsor print program. The 2012-13 Sponsor Print, by artist Mike Brown, was chosen by a vote of DU volunteers in attendance at the Alaska State Meeting, held in Anchorage on March 17, 2012.
The Wells Fargo grant will pay for the production and publishing of 450 prints, including a regular edition (400) that will be provided to all those who make a bronze sponsor donation of $250 at an Alaska DU event during the current fiscal year, and a special Conservation Edition of 50 prints which are reserved for Alaska major donors.
Loren Prosser, Wells Fargo NW Alaska Community Banking President and volunteer DU NW Alaska District Chairman, helped secure the funding. Funding was provided jointly by WFBA’s Southeast, Southwest, Northwest and Fairbanks markets in Alaska. Nationally Wells Fargo gave more than $60,000 to DU, with more than $17,000 to Alaska DU in the past 5 years.
We wish to thank Wells Fargo for their continued support of Alaska Ducks Unlimited.
