Gaylord Opryland to Host Land & Wildlife Expo in Nashville

Ducks Unlimited announces the first-ever Bass Pro Shops Land and Wildlife Expo presented by Ram Trucks, August 12–14, 2011, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This one-of-a-kind event will feature the latest innovations in wildlife, agriculture, and forestry management and conservation from more than 20 industry experts and conservation organizations.

During this three-day event, visitors will be able to design their own seminar program at the Mossy Oak True North Seminar Summit. Seminar tracks, taught by a team of experts, will address the interests of landowners, hunters, and property managers eager to improve their land, conserve resources, attract wildlife, create habitat, and learn more about current federal and state assistance programs.

The 2011 Expo will feature more than 100 acres of exhibits and hands-on activities for people of all ages. The outdoor demo area will be divided into seven "villages" representing different outdoor terrains. Exhibitors will feature land management technology, archery and shooting demonstrations, ATV and UTV test tracks, vehicle exhibitions, kids' activities, food and more.

The Land and Wildlife Expo will be hosted by the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, which includes three atriums, live music, a wide variety of dining options and a spa, all under one roof. The world-famous Grand Ole Opry and the General Jackson Showboat are right next door. And these venues are just minutes away from downtown Nashville attractions and nightlife.
