Welcome to Greater Baltimore Ducks Unlimited

What's our Role? The mission of the Greater Baltimore Chapter is to raise the grass roots money that is needed to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl.  The committee is comprised of a variety of different people with a wide range of interests and careers who share the same beliefs in conservation and having fun. Typically, the money we raise thru the fund raising event system is leveraged manyfold by using matching grants and Federal dollars.

The Greater Baltimore Chapter holds 2 FUNdraisers a year, which include:

A Happy Hour Auctions/Dinners and an Annual DU Holiday Party.  We invite a variety of local businesses to sponsor, donate or simply attend our events to help raise money.  You will often find Greater Baltimore committee members who work hard together for conservation also play hard together too.  We are avid sportsmen (and women), and we enjoy Hunting, Shooting Clays, Fishing, Golfing.

We are active participants in the Maryland Wood Duck Initiative (www.mwdi.net), the Mallard Conservation Initiative - http://www.ducks.org/conservation/initiative52.aspx - and the DU Greenwings Program.  The chapter helps to maintain and enhance local habitat in the Baltimore County and Harford County areas as well as habitat around the State of Maryland.

We meet at least once a month on the first Tuesday of the month (and sometimes more often) at Little Havana’s, in Federal Hill; or Hull Street Blues, in Locust Point. To get involved (all are welcomed) contact Cameron Good at (410) 818-3821 or drcamerongood@gmail.com.
