Browning is heralding its new Maxus autoloader as a breakthrough shotgun thanks to a number of technological improvements. The Maxus is engineered to deliver up to 18 percent less felt recoil, 44 percent less muzzle jump, 19 percent faster bolt speed, and 24 percent faster lock time than its competitors. The Maxus will be available in 12-gauge 3- and 3 1/2-inch chambers and will feature a composite stock and forearm.
