Are you looking for a way to make a gift to Ducks Unlimited?
The IRA Charitable Rollover Program has been extended through 2009.
Congress recently approved an extension on a simple and convenient gift method using your IRA.
Like many other Ducks Unlimited members, your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) probably has increased in value over the years. At age 70½ you must begin taking distributions from your IRA whether or not you need this additional income stream.
If your income needs are met, why not consider making Ducks Unlimited the beneficiary of your required IRA income payouts?
It's a very simple process. Just contact your custodian and request that all or part of your distribution amount be transferred to Ducks Unlimited*. Your favorite waterfowl hunting organization receives a nice gift and you avoid the additional tax burden from these distributions.
The IRA rollover gift is a simple and easy way to provide for DU without increasing your taxable income.

*An amount up to $100,000 may be transferred each calendar year through Dec. 31, 2009.
