MEMPHIS, Tenn. - July 6, 2015 - Officials from Ducks Unlimited have announced a new partnership agreement with Drake, the industry leader in waterfowl hunting apparel. Under the new agreement, Drake is now a "DU Proud Partner" and Drake hunting apparel is the "Official Hunting Apparel of Ducks Unlimited."

"We are very pleased to welcome Drake into our Corporate Partner Program," said Amy Batson, DU's Chief Fundraising Officer. "They've provided a tremendous amount of support at local fundraising events over the years, and becoming a Proud Partner really shows their commitment to wetlands conservation."

Drake has been a DU preferred vendor since fall of 2009, supplying personalized shirts for volunteer committees as well as products for fundraising events. Over the past five years, Drake has become a DU Life Sponsor through cash support and product donations at local fundraising events. Through this new partnership, Drake will contribute more than $350,000 for DU's conservation work over the next three years.

Drake will also put hangtags on all technical hunting apparel items, providing information about DU and specific messaging regarding conservation efforts.

"We're excited to become a Ducks Unlimited Proud Partner," said Drake co-founder Bobby Windham.

"DU leads the charge in conserving habitat, managing wetlands and ensuring waterfowl hunting opportunities for our kids, grandkids and beyond," said Tate Wood, co-founder of Drake. "This mission is important to Drake Waterfowl as a company and as outdoorsmen, and we're proud to stand by DU in these efforts."
