Pacheco, a Memphis native, has 30 years of experience in advertising and marketing, including more than 20 years with FedEx, where he was managing director of advertising and sponsorship marketing. Previously, Pacheco worked for International Paper and was a partner in a Memphis-based advertising and design agency.

I believe Steves experience, creativity and leadership skills will be strong assets for Ducks Unlimited as we strive to increase awareness of our brand and grow corporate and public support for our wetlands and waterfowl mission, said Ducks Unlimited CEO Dale Hall. I am excited about DUs future and all that Steve will help us accomplish in the coming years.

Pacheco and his teams have produced more than a dozen Super Bowl commercials, as well as FedExCup, NFL and NASCAR advertising campaigns and won numerous national and international awards for integrated ad campaigns and television commercials.

In 2013, he was honored by both the American Advertising Federation and The Advertising Club of New York. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He and his wife, Debbie, have two sons.

Pacheco will begin his new role at Ducks Unlimited National Headquarters May 24.

I am excited to be joining a world-class organization focused on a truly noble mission at an important time of growth for Ducks Unlimited, Pacheco said. DU is an incredibly motivated team of staff, volunteers, supporters and sponsors connected by great vision, outstanding leadership and backed by a powerful brand that means so much to so many.
