DU partnered with the Ohio Division of Wildlife and Pheasants Forever to plant native warm season grasses on public lands managed by the Division of Wildlife in northwest Ohio. More than 480 acres of grasslands were established this year, including 217 acres at La Su An Wildlife Area in Williams County. These grasses were planted as part of the Northwest Ohio Wetlands Initiative NAWCA grant.
