North Carolina Ducks Unlimited is proud to announce the George F. Henry III Legacy Greenwing Project and would like to offer you the opportunity to list a child's name on the project plaque. The George F. Henry III Legacy Greenwing Project is a bridge between Ducks Unlimited’s habitat conservation and youth projects. This new project is open to youth up to the age of 17 for a one-time contribution of $200. The Legacy Greenwing membership funds will support waterfowl habitat projects throughout North Carolina. Participants of this project will be listed on a plaque that will be displayed at the Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC. This legacy project is similar to the type of recognition used to honor our Life Sponsors on DU projects throughout North Carolina.
The George F. Henry III Legacy Greenwing Project is the next step for NCDU’s youth programs. NCDU’s youth programs have led the nation with the nation’s first state Youth and Education Coordinator, with the most Varsity Chapters, and with rapidly increasing our youth membership numbers. The SPORTSMAN FOR TOMORROW Legacy Greenwing Project will allow you to support DU’s youth program, provide your child with a link to DU’s conservation mission, and associate (list) their name with this new project. NCDU will host a project dedication at Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC in the spring of 2019.
Legacy Greenwing Membership Benefits include:
For a one-time contribution of $200 or more, the Legacy Greenwing member will become either a Junior Legacy Greenwing (age 11 and younger) or a Senior Legacy Greenwing (age 12-17). Members will receive the following yearly benefits: a DU membership card and certificate; Greenwing decals or Varsity decals, a subscription to an online or printed magazine, access to a special Greenwing website (www.greenwing.org), members-only section of the DU website (www.ducks.org) and a Legacy Greenwing lapel pin. Additionally, upon turning 18, the member will become an adult DU member and will receive a subscription to the Ducks Unlimited magazine until the age of 21.
