Member Tip
Old Reliable

"In today’s world of full-bodied and shell goose decoys, the inexpensive, yet effective, silhouette decoy has been somewhat forgotten. But these decoys make a very cost-effective way to increase your decoy spread. Just set your full-bodied dekes on the periphery of the spread and your silhouettes in the interior.

Another tip when using silhouette goose decoys is to place them facing in various directions. This will create an illusion of movement to geese passing overhead."

Ducks Unlimited Joins "No Child Left Inside" Coalition

Ducks Unlimited has joined a coalition supporting the “No Child Left Inside” bill, which would improve outdoor and environmental education for school kids of all ages.

With kids today spending half as much time outside as their counterparts of 20 years ago, it is imperative that steps be taken to introduce and re-introduce the next generation to the joys of hunting, angling and spending time in nature.
