I am delighted to personally invite you to attend Ducks Unlimited’s Annual Convention in Baltimore, Maryland from May 21 – 25, 2008.
Baltimore offers many unique and unforgettable experiences, from the freshest Chesapeake Bay cuisine at some of the best seafood restaurants to the kitchens of Little Italy, not to mention, the historical cobblestone streets of Fell’s Point to the view atop Federal Hill, or chasing foul balls at Camden Yards. And whether you travel by water taxi, bus, car --- or even on foot --- you’ll find Baltimore an easy city to experience and enjoy.
Convention 2008, with its significant meetings and related events will include updates on the Wetlands for Tomorrow campaign, as well as reports on Ducks Unlimited’s successes of the past year. The General Business Sessions and the Presidents’ Luncheon provide an excellent opportunity to highlight the volunteer leaders of our organization. And, as always, the hospitality room is a great place to renew old friendships or begin new ones.
The program schedule included in this brochure will assist in planning your time while at Convention, but there are a few items that should be addressed now to ensure a successful convention week.
- Registration: You can register online or print and return the Convention Registration Form, along with your check or credit card information to Convention Central.
- Banquet Reservations: Please print and complete the Banquet Reservation Form and return it with your other registration forms.
- Hotel Accommodations: The Hotel Reservation Form should be completed and mailed or faxed to the hotel. You may also reserve your accommodations via the hotel website listed on the form.
- Tour Reservations: Now is the time to make your plans for the distinctive tours available during Convention.
During the coming months, you will receive additional information on all the activities and events scheduled for May. In the meantime, I urge you to finalize your plans and join us in Baltimore!
