MEMPHIS, Tenn., August 1, 2007 – Want to go waterfowl hunting this Saturday? Well, you can – sort of. Even though the real season won’t start for another month or two, you can enjoy a taste of what’s to come by watching the new season of Ducks Unlimited Television on the VERSUS network.
Hosts Wade Bourne, Jared Brown and Marc Pierce hunt with passionate waterfowlers and conservationists throughout North America. They all share valuable waterfowling tips and tactics that even seasoned waterfowlers can use.
“It was a great season,” said Bourne. “We traveled across North America and hunted places that any duck or goose hunter can hunt. And we found inspiring conservation stories about what DU volunteers, staff, and others are doing to restore and protect waterfowl habitat.”
Having earned a spot among the preeminent conservation organizations on the planet, DU remains true to its hunting roots and members through the passion showcased on Ducks Unlimited Television. If the sight of a wingbeats stops you in your tracks, this is your show.
On tap again for the 2007 season are informative segments on hunting tactics, dog training and cooking tips.
Renowned trainer Mike Stewart provides tips with Drake the “DU Dog” that every dog owner can immediately use.
Sporting Chef Scott Lesayth cooks up a wide variety of delicious dishes that are sure to make your mouth water!

With more than a million supporters, Ducks Unlimited is the world’s largest and most effective wetland and waterfowl conservation organization with more than 12 million acres conserved. The United States alone has lost more than half of its original wetlands - nature’s most productive ecosystem - and continues to lose more than 80,000 wetland acres each year.
