We have all been wondering "will people attend MO DU events, spend
some
money, and have some fun in 2009"? Kearney, Jefferson City,
Palmyra,
Montgomery City, Perryville and the Albany, MO DU committess have
provided
us with the answer, a resounding YES.
Here are the highlights: Over 1,400 attendees at these six events the
last
two weekends (160 at Montgomery City to 400+ at Palmyra); Mongomery City
and
Perryville added seating (both increased attendance by 20% over last
year);
first duck out of the pond brought $250 at Kearney event (Kearney Full
Halls
and Decoy Pond pics attached); Browning BPS pump shotgun (.410)
brought
$1,000 and DU Neon Clock brought $200 at Jefferson City event; Redlin
Print
brought $675 at Albany. All reported good live auctions.
Thanks
MO DU Volunteers. You pre-sold tickets and filled the halls. Keep up
the
great work!!!
