Hey all, just looking for some advice. I'm planning on building a Hybrid NL for next season, and I was thinking a 10 footer would be good for extra room for decoys, other stuff, and stability if it happened to get rough while I'm out on the water. Is a 10 footer a lot harder to hide than the 8 foot? Same question about PODS as well, are they worth it to build?

Thanks

Well I decided to make a 10' NL and have the pieces cut out, just waiting for the epoxy & fiberglass to make the joints to make it into a 10'. I was planning on staggering butt joints on the bottom and sides, I read that butt joints are actually stronger than the wood itself, so there is no need to scarf the joints. I'm also planning on using bondo as a filler over the construction adhesive.
Any tips/suggestions?
Thanks

Also, I'm planning on using Liquid Nails Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive instead of PL200, any experience with it and will it do the job?
