So I am very new to duck Hunting and I am looking for a duck gun. I have my eye on the stoeger M3000 but just wanted to check and see what the general thought was as far as stoeger? Good Bad junk?

Thanks I have heard there were some problems with them. I'm kinda leaning to a mossberg 935 instead but would be thankful for any suggestions.

for what the 935 cost you may want to look at the beretta a300 outlander.

The nice thing about Mossturds is they're usually broken before you even get em out of the box, saving you the trouble of breaking it yourself!

I have the second generation M2000 and have put it through the ringer for the last several years.  I keep it clean and it never fails me.  Break a gun in properly and clean it the way you are supposed to and you should not have any problems.

I have a new m3000 in the max 4 camo and I absolutely love it. I have put about 300 rounds through it so far and it has worked great.  From the research I did the older m2000's were problematic but the new m3000's are fine.  Is it as nice and polished as a Beretta or Benelli, no.  Will it kill a duck just as dead as with a Beretta or Benelli, yes.
