I had tried the Cabelas ones last year. The breathable with 600 grams in the boot but my foot wouldn't stay in the boot. Also the 600 grams wasn't quite warm enough. So I am looking for something with at least 800 grams in the boot and extremely durable. I was looking at the MPW early season waders but from one of the reviews it doesn't sound like they are very durable. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I have had my waders from MPW for 3 years now and no leaks. Cabela's has those that are 1600 grams for a decent price.

San Sasse (9/10/2012) I have had my waders from MPW for 3 years now and no leaks. Cabela's has those that are 1600 grams for a decent price.
How rough are you on them? I've got the Cabelas Nitro mag 1600s. I think that's what they are called. But those are way too hot for early season. We sometimes hike in a long ways and they even get hot in negative 0 weather. No way am I wearing those when it's 50 degrees!

I think I am going to go with the MPW ones. Hopefully they hold up.

I use the Drake Waterfowl equader system and love em. I am however looking for a good pair of early season hip boots.
Make 'em dead!
