my father and i have just purshested 26 acres in nc I have not seen the property but i think it is half woods half field i would like to make this a little spot to duck and or goose hunt what should i be looking for to see if its worth the trouble to work on any advice or direction would help i have never done anything like this before

first, i wouldn't buy anything I didn't see first. is there water on it?

my dad saw it but he's not a duck hunter and it wasn't purchased for duck hunting i was just hoping i could do something with it as an added bones and I'm 90 % sure there is a creek that outlines the one side and back of the property

ahh...i see. that's a different story. i know one thing......if you have access to water, and the soil conditions are favorable, (hydric)...then you have real possibility there. good luck.

i think i may just want to do a few holes to start do you think its like a build it they will come thing ? and would you say in the woods or in the field?
