Is the Franchi Affinity a good gun to get? I'm in need for a new waterfowl/upland gun. Would it be a good choice?

Franchi USA? they make good guns, but remember the gun you are asking about is "Brand new" this year just like the humpback. sometimes it may be a better choice to wait a year, I know i asked about getting the Winchester SX3 (20 ga), but I am hopeing that this may be the final change they have made for that gun. *finngers crossed*

I know Franchi touts a " fancy recoil spring" But remember also a lighter gun makes for more vertical muzzle climb I dont care what new spring they use.

Hope this helps, if you do get one, I l;ook foward to reading your review.= )

Ive been using a Franchi I-12 for a few years and love it.  Great gun for the $.  I think the Affinity has now replaced the I-12.  A buddy just bought the Affinity a month or so ago and so far really likes it, i got to give it a whirl on the dove opener the other weekend and it felt good and cycled well, we will see how it performs this season.  Im stickin with my I-12!
