I am thinking about next year already and looking at the northern flight blind. I herd really good things about them and bad. would you build something like these or buy this. and if build would you buy the grass mats or real and put it on like canvase or chicken wire to put on.

Thanks,

Jacob

Jacob

I bought the Northern flight blind for my john boat this season and had it on for 2 days and one hunt took it off immediately after using it the boats controls dont fit to the boat and the motor cant go up and down. May just be the style of my boat but I think people are better off building something to thier boat.

I think its better to build your own blind. The simple reason being is everything you want in a blind you can control

Heres a picture of my blind still in the works. So far it costed med 60.00 dollars in materials. Its made up of pvc pipes fitted in drilled holders so I can assemble and disassemble in 10 minuets. Hmm wont let me send the attachment. Just click on my profile though, I have it as my pic icon.

I built my own blind and it was a great project. the blind build was not hard a grinder, screw gun, fittings, and liquid clue along with burlap, zip ties and fast grass.  I think the blind set me back $150 or so in total not bad.
ducks dont seem to mind.
