I just bought a Franchi 912 Variomax and am having trouble patterning loads to what I would like out of the factory tubes.  Does anyone use this gun?  If so, could you please give me a starting point for choke tubes and loads for it so I dont have to spend $500 trying to figure it out.  I hunt geese and ducks in a variety of situations so any information will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

Well I will add this for you. I have a Franchi and I have found that the Kicks High Flyer, and the Carlson Waterfowl Chokes produce the best patterns. The best patterns I produced were with Heavy Steel, and Winchester Xpert Steel #2's.  The patterns are dense and consistent. I'm sure other loads would produce good patterns these are just the shells I use.  For the money you cannot go wrong with the Carlson Waterfowl Choke tubes.  Cabelas has them for $29.99 or all 3 for $79.99  i'm using the mid range and I like it.
